Heymann-Löwenstein Riesling F

Heymann-Löwenstein Riesling F is the base wine of the collection. Enchanting in the nose and on the palate by the light-hearted synthesis of ripe fruits and minerality.

All wines undergo the same vinification: fermentation with wild yeast cells, aging for 10 months in stainless steel tanks and wood, no clarification. The wines all have an excellent balance between the basic components of a wine: sugar, acid, alcohol and phenols. In their youth, the balance will not be perfect yet, this is only achieved after at least two years of patience with the dry wines. More time is needed for sweet wines: 10 years for the auslese, 15 years for the auslese with a golden capsule, 20 years and more for the beerenauslese and trockenbeerenauslese. The wines, dry or sweet, from the 'Schiefer terraces' ripen a little faster than those from single vineyards.

Wine - Food pairing

Great, pure and refreshing as aperitif. Recommended for pure fish preparations, whether or not combined with salty sea lambs (lambs) or sea lilies, bushes, green risotto, green vegetables from the wok. Also special as accompanist of green salads with salmon or salmon trout.
