Hacienda El Espino
Hacienda El Espino is located in the geographical area of the Denominación de Origen La Mancha. It is located on a high plateau bordering the autonomous regions of Valencia and Murcia along what is known as the Almansa Corridor. The corridor has marked the transition from the lands of Levante (coastal areas) to Castilla for centuries.
The main difference between the territory of the D.O. La Mancha and that of Levante is the difference in altitude, rising from 400 meters above sea level in the town of Fuente La Higuera to 700 meters in Almansa.
