Cuvée des Anges from Grande Maison is a dessert wine that takes you to heaven. The wine is made from the Muscadelle, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grape varieties, which are harvested late to allow the noble rot "botrytis cinerea" to develop. This gives the wine a unique sweetness and complexity.
In the nose of the Cuvée des Anges you will find aromas of candied fruit, honey, citrus and flowers. The taste is sweet and elegant, with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. The wine has a long, fresh aftertaste that will stay with you for a long time.
Wine - Food pairing
Ideal accompaniment to blue cheeses such as Stilton and Roquefort, fruit dessert and ice cream.

La Grande Maison is a beautiful Domaine from Bergerac, with both sweet Monbazillac wines and dry white and red Bergerac wines. Certified organic for a long time, and under Thierry Deprès has become a leader in the region.
The wines are clean and clear, and made with Bordelaise grapes as tradition dictates. Always a rustic edge, best described as country charm. The noble sweetness is made of different degrees of 'pourriture noble', from airy sweet to syrupy intense.
