Grabenwerkstatt Ried Schön Grüner Veltliner 1s made from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes, the most widely planted and popular variety in Austria. This wine has a dry taste with 13.5% alcohol. From the Ried Schön vineyard, which was first acquired by the winery in 2013 and planted with local Grüner Veltliner. The vineyard has deep soils based on paragneiss, a metamorphic rock suitable for Grüner Veltliner.
Vinification takes place through natural traditional methods, such as whole bunch pressing, spontaneous fermentation, no clarification and no filtration.
