Grabenwerkstatt Ried Brandstatt Grüner Veltliner is made from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes, the most widely planted and popular variety in Austria. This wine has a dry taste with 13% alcohol. From the Ried Brandstatt vineyard which has two faces: one is rocky and suitable for Riesling, and the other is fertile and suitable for Grüner Veltliner. The vineyards are located on a ridge lit by the evening sun and cannot be reached by tractor. They therefore work the entire area by hand: 50-year-old vines, whose enormous potential and independent character they want to gradually reveal.

The wine is part of the Wachau DAC, a regional appellation that guarantees quality and origin. The wine has a floral and fruity aroma, with notes of mango and orange, and a lively and mineral aftertaste.

Vinification takes place through natural traditional methods, such as whole bunch pressing, spontaneous fermentation, no clarification and no filtration.

This biodynamic Grüner Veltliner is suitable for smoked salmon, grilled fish, chicken dishes, ham, salads, young goat cheeses and mild Asian dishes.
