Gorgo Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso is made from a blend of indigenous grape varieties, including Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. After the first fermentation, the wine is poured over the lees (husks and residues) of the Amarone wine, causing a second fermentation and the wine to absorb additional color, aromas and flavors. This process is known as the "ripasso" method.
