Giribaldi Dolcetto d'Alba Alma is an intense ruby red wine with typical purple reflections in the glass. In the nose, the wine is fragrant with hints of violets and ripe red fruit. In the taste it has much more fruit enveloping in softness with a dry, fresh and clean aftertaste.
The 4.85 hectare organic vineyard consists exclusively of Dolcetto grapes of Italian origin. The age of the vines is over 30 years old. The vinification starts with a maceration of 9 days followed by fermentation at a constant and controlled temperature. After resting in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for 2 months in wooden barrels of 30 hectolitres. After that, the bottle matures for another 6 months in the bottle.
