Giol Sesto Senso Bronner has a delicate nose reminiscent of golden delicious apple, unripe fruit and lime blossom. In the mouth it is dry, balanced and nicely balanced, with a pleasant taste.
Sesto Senso means sixth sense, an extremely special wine made from Bronner grapes. Bronner is defined by several experts as a variety of the future and as a super organic wine, thanks to its extraordinary natural ability to resist the most dangerous fungal diseases for grapes, such as powdery mildew and downy mildew. For this reason, it does not require treatments like other, more common and well-known grape varieties. The grapes grown here are therefore uncontaminated, keeping the original aromas and flavors of their region intact.
Delicious as an aperitif or with vegetable soups, asparagus and fish dishes.
Giol Sesto Senso Bronner is an Italian white organic and vegan wine from the Veneto region. This wine is made from 100% Bronner grapes.
Recommended serving temperature between 10°C and 12°C.
Located in the heart of San Polo di Piave, 35 km from Venice (Veneto), Azienda Agricola Giol is the oldest Prosecco house from Italy (1427). The trademark of this winery is the today uninhabited castle Giol. Here the wines are aged in the cellars, under the watchful eye of the young Venetian winemaker Vittorio Carraro, behind meters thick walls and therefore at a constant temperature.
The recent history of the castle and wine cellars goes back to the events surrounding 2 families: first the Papadopoli family and later the Giol family. The Count Papadopoli, a Venetian banker, used the castle as his summer residence and left Venice during those months to supervise the harvest on his infinite estate. In 1923, the family sold the huge estate with more than 60 farms belonging to the estate and the castle to Commander Giovanni Giol. He had just returned from South America after a very successful emigration period. He moved into the castle and continued with the count's work. While preserving the structure and the old wine cellars, he built a second barrel room, still known for its size and charm. After the contributions of the next three generations, the entire complex is in excellent condition and a winery remains where great wines are produced. All made from organic grapes, vegan, sometimes without added sulfites and with relatively low alcohol percentages.
