Gerard Seguin Bourgogne Cuvée Gérard

Gerard Seguin Bourgogne Cuvée Gérard comes from vines located in the best of the Burgundy appellation in the territory of the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin at a place called Charreux, formerly Chemin du Tacot, towards Brochon. The vines on the plot are 30 years old. The vinification is traditional: manual harvest, cold maceration, then fermentation using indigenous yeasts, then aging in oak barrels for about 15 months.

The wine obtained is typical of the Gevrey appellation: robust and generous, nicely structured with aromas of red and black fruits, it familiarizes the wine lover with the very pronounced taste of the terroir found in this Cuvée.

Domaine Gerard Seguin

Domaine Gérard Seguin is a winery located in the Burgundy region of France. The domaine specializes in the production of red and white wines from the Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny appellations, both known for their high-quality wines.

In Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Gérard Seguin produces some of the most refined and elegant red wines. These wines are made from the Pinot Noir grape and have characteristic aromas of red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, combined with earthy notes and subtle spicy nuances. They can have good structure, soft tannins and a long finish.

In Chambolle-Musigny, the domaine produces both red and white wines. The white wines are made from the Chardonnay grape and can exhibit delicate aromas of white fruit, citrus and flowers. They often have a lively acidity and an elegant texture. The red wines from Chambolle-Musigny are also made from the Pinot Noir grape and are known for their fine tannins, refined flavors and elegant structure. They can show notes of red fruits, strawberries, flowers and spices.

Domaine Gérard Seguin strives for quality and respect for the terroir. They use traditional viticultural methods and careful vinification to produce wines that reflect the expression of their specific vineyards.
