Familia Conesa Viña Consolación Tempranillo has a deep cherry red color with violet hues. Aromas of black fruits such as blackberries and currants predominate with important dairy accents that are again balanced with the spiciness of the wine. On the palate, this wine shows ripe tannins balanced with acidity. Friendly, lively and harmonious.
This Tempranillo is fermented in stainless steel tanks, where the temperature is lowered below 12 degrees. The selected yeasts they use at Familia Conesa have a slow action for better extraction of aromas and color. This gives them a young wine with a lot of structure, a high color intensity and aromas; in short, a perfect wine for a long maturation in oak barrels. This wine continues to age in barricas for 8 months, which gives it complexity and increased length.
