Enate Merlot - Merlot is a very serious Spanish red wine. The perfect representative of Enate's Merlot-Merlot line. It presents a broad, complex range of aromas harmoniously combining touches of red fruit, balsamic and spicy notes (eucalyptus, clove) together with characteristic aromas of dried apricots and hints of chocolate and toast provided by the barrel. Its palate is broad and fleshy, lining the mouth with sweet, impeccably manufactured tannins. In the mouth, the finish is very persistent, offering touches of Chinese ink and leather.
This is a wine brimming with exuberance and going directly to the senses.
Wine - Food pairing
Excellent companion of stews with smoked meat or meat products, meat dishes in rich sauces and in particular game dishes. Delightful with artisan, (half) aged hard Spanish cheeses (tronchón, zamorano, roncal).
