Emil Bauer Insomnia Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant, dry 100% Sauvignon Blanc with subtle aromas of citrus, honey, white flowers.
Emil Bauer Insomnia Sauvignon Blanc has a deep golden yellow color. This Sauvignon Blanc wine has aromas and flavors of citrus fruits such as lemon, lime and grapefruit, together with green notes of grass, gooseberries and subtle spicy nuances.
This Palatinate wine is completely handmade. After harvesting, this wine matures in 500 liter wooden barrels, which gives it the nutty taste in addition to the freshness of Sauvignon Blanc.

Winery Emil Bauer & Söhne is a family business led by the fifth generation: Alexander and Martin Bauer. The best conditions for viticulture can be found in picturesque Nußdorf in the Pfalz Germany. The drastic improvements in the barrel cellar and the wine press have made the quality of the wines even better in recent years and therefore both winemakers were nominated as "Newcomer of the year 2014" at the Falstaff. A large number of grape varieties are cultivated here, which is typical of the Pfalz. In addition to classics such as Riesling, Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder and Silvaner, there are also international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.
But all this is nothing compared to what the brothers have developed in the field of label design. The revolutionary "Just Riesling" label is already a legend and the other provocative labels are just as successful; each label tells a piece from the life of the two brothers, about how they are and how they think.
