Domini Veneti Jago Amarone della Valpolicella is a powerful and elegant red wine from the famous Valpolicella region in Veneto, Italy. Produced by the Domini Veneti vineyard, this Amarone is made from a careful selection of dried grapes, including Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. The wine is aged for 36 months in oak barrels, resulting in a complex and concentrated masterpiece.
The wine has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is rich and concentrated with aromas of black cherries, plums, figs, combined with hints of tobacco, spices such as cinnamon and pepper, and balsamic.
On the palate, the Domini Veneti Jago Amarone is powerful and structured with velvety tannins. The ripe fruit notes are reflected in the taste, accompanied by hints of leather, licorice and vanilla. The wine has a long, persistent aftertaste with a complex and elegant finish.
The wine is optimal to drink between 5 and 10 years after harvest. You may want to decant the wine 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving to allow the aromas to develop optimally.
