Domaine Lavallée Bourgogne Aligoté

Domaine Lavallée Bourgogne Aligoté, a French Burgundy wine, is pale golden yellow in color and offers a balanced taste, ranging from a fruity bouquet with notes of apple and lemon to a more floral palette. On the palate, this lively wine stimulates the taste buds.

Bourgogne Aligoté is a white wine from Burgundy in France made from the Aligoté grape variety. While Chardonnay is the most widely planted white grape in Burgundy, Aligoté is the second most widely planted grape and is known for producing crisp, refreshing and mineral-driven wines.

All in all, Bourgogne Aligoté is a versatile wine that offers a refreshing alternative to Chardonnay and other white wines from Burgundy. It's a great choice for those who like crisp, mineral-driven wines with bright acidity and subtle fruit flavours.

Wine - Food pairing

A perfect match for grilled fish, its vibrancy and citrus notes withstand the saltiness of oysters and strong goat cheese. Bourgogne Aligoté is one of the rare wines that does not overpower salads or steamed vegetables.

Domaine Lavallée

Domaine Lavallée is a typical family domain, owned by Erick Lavallée from Saint Bris le Vineux. Located just below the city of Auxerre, between the wine regions of Côtes d'Auxerre, Saint Bris, Chablis and Irancy. He makes generous wines, which are able to represent both grape and soil well, and offer a lot of drinking pleasure. And not unimportant: an excellent price-quality ratio.

His white Côtes d'Auxerre is a beautiful Burgundian Chardonnay, whose taste is somewhere between minerally, fresh Chablis and round, rich Burgundy from the Côte de Beaune. Ripe yellow and white fruit, grass-fed butter, and something floral. Round and mouth-filling, and a long soft finish.

The Aligoté of this house is fresh and mineral, slightly creamy with notes of citrus and green fruit.
