Domaine Latour-Giraud Pommard Cuvée Carmen is a red wine of exceptional quality, produced by the renowned winery Domaine Latour-Giraud in Meursault, located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, France. This Cuvée Carmen is a powerhouse that perfectly reflects the finesse and elegance of Pinot Noir from Pommard.

The Cuvée Carmen is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from selected plots in the prestigious Grand Cru vineyard Clos de la Poutence in Pommard. This vineyard is known for its calcareous clay soil and perfect sun exposure, resulting in grapes with intense concentration and aromas.

After manual harvesting, the grapes are carefully sorted and then gently crushed. Fermentation takes place on natural yeasts in traditional oak barrels. The wine then matures in the cellar for 18 to 24 months, depending on the vintage and desired style.

The Meursault Cuvée Carmen reveals a complex and varied aroma profile. Think red fruit, blueberry, raspberry, cherry, plum, leather, spices, and mineral notes.
