Pouilly-Fuissé is a famous appellation in the Mâconnais, a sub-region of Burgundy in France. The wines produced here are made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and are known for their elegance, finesse and mineral character.
The Pouilly-Fuissé vineyards are located on calcareous clay soil with stones, which ensures perfect drainage and minerality in the wines. The slopes of the hills provide optimal zone exposure, which allows the grapes to ripen and provides complex aromas.
