The vineyard 'Sur la Roche' is oriented southeast. The vines grow on a calcareous soil on a very calcareous marl layer. The location and soil provide a nice balance between rich and fresh notes in the wine. The vineyard has been working since 2000 with attention to nature, the soil and the vines.
The grapes are harvested manually, after which the grapes are immediately pressed. The juice ferments and matures in oak barrels for approximately 11 months. Warm on the nose, with aromas of dried fruit, toasted bread and some blossom.
This Pouilly-Fuissé wine has a harmonious taste with round notes of ripe white fruit, well-integrated wood, fine acidity and beautiful mineral notes. Charming and fruity in its youth, with good aging potential.
