Domaine des Beaumont Morey-Saint-Denis is a powerful and full-bodied wine. This Burgundy wine has a perfect balance between the subtlety of aromas and the power of tannins. In the nose, the wine is spicy with aromas of blackberries, herbs and liquorice. On the palate it is full of ripe black fruit, nice and generous, light animal notes emerge. A wine with power and good length.
The pinot noir grapes come from clay and limestone soils lying in the Côte de Nuits. The vines are 48 years old. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak, 30% of which is new.
Morey Saint Denis is a transition between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny.

Domaine des Beaumont
Domaine des Beaumont is a wine estate located in the Beaujolais region of France. Beaujolais is known for its light, fruity and vibrant red wines, made primarily from the Gamay grape.
In total, the domain has about 5.5 hectares of vineyard spread over the villages of Morey-St-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny. Together 28 different parcels that are eventually assembled into 10 different wines. The annual yield of the domain is 25 to 30,000 bottles.
Because the domain was technically behind the times in the past, a new winery was built and opened in 2009.
The Domaine des Beaumont is managed by Thierry and Vincent Beaumont, representing seven generations of know-how and passion. Practicing reasoned and sustainable viticulture, every grape and every bottle here is optimally cared for by the hand of the winemaker.
