Domaine des Beaumont Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes is rich and complex, expressive and powerful. Intensely aromatic with scents of ripe red fruit, blackcurrant and liquorice. The aromas of the ripe red fruit are nicely confirmed in the taste. The wine is elegant and generous, the flesh is combined with melted and present tannins. Abundant smoothness is combined with good acidity, a solid wine that is unmistakably made for aging. The Pinot Noir grapes come from a clay-limestone soil in the Côte de Nuits. The vines are 70 years old. Aging for 12 months in oak barrels, of which 60% new oak barrels.

Domaine des Beaumont
Domaine des Beaumont is a wine estate located in the Beaujolais region of France. Beaujolais is known for its light, fruity and vibrant red wines, made primarily from the Gamay grape.
In total, the domain has about 5.5 hectares of vineyard spread over the villages of Morey-St-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny. Together 28 different parcels that are eventually assembled into 10 different wines. The annual yield of the domain is 25 to 30,000 bottles.
Because the domain was technically behind the times in the past, a new winery was built and opened in 2009.
The Domaine des Beaumont is managed by Thierry and Vincent Beaumont, representing seven generations of know-how and passion. Practicing reasoned and sustainable viticulture, every grape and every bottle here is optimally cared for by the hand of the winemaker.
