Domaine des 3 Dames Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly is yellow gold in color. In the nose, initially generous and sweet notes of candied fruit and lemon flavors of lemon and grapefruit, but without exuberance. This gives way to notes suggesting quince jelly and fresh mirabelles. The ripeness that one can detect is combined with an aromatic freshness and pleasure on the palate. The wines are structured, yet lively in the aftertaste. The grapes come from a plot called La Levée, located at the foot of the Roche de Solutré, the soil consists of deep white clay and limestone.

Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly is a wine appellation in the Mâconnais sub-region of Burgundy, France. The appellation produces white wines made from Chardonnay grapes and is known for its elegant, well-balanced wines with bright acidity and mineral-driven character. Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly wines are typically characterized by their aromas of white flowers, citrus and stone fruit, with subtle notes of minerals and a hint of oak. On the palate they are medium-bodied with flavors of lemon, peach and green apple, with a refreshing acidity and a clean, dry finish.

Vinification

This wine is aged for 11 months in stainless steel barrels on the lees, no fining (suitable for vegans) and very light filtration before bottling (may have a slight tarnish). Fermentation in stainless steel vats by native yeasts. Age of the vines: 40 years.
