Domaine de Mauperthuis Bourgogne Grande Réserve Chardonnay is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, a grape variety that has made Burgundy world famous for white wines.

In the glass, this Bourgogne Blanc presents itself with a beautiful golden yellow colour. The nose is complex and fine, with dried fruit, peach and spices. Beautiful ripening tones (toast, caramel) also come to the fore. Structured in the mouth, broad and fruity with a nice minerality.

Bourgogne Blanc wines are produced throughout Burgundy, from the Chablis in the north to the Mâconnais in the south, and are a more affordable alternative to the region's more prestigious and expensive wines, such as Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. Burgundy Blanc wines are typically dry and crisp.
