In the heart of the Arbois vineyard, Roger Martin writes a page in the history of Vin Jaune. In a place called "La Pinte à la Capitaine", on the blue marl of the Lias, he planted 14 hectares of Savagnin. At that time it was the largest estate planted with Savagnin.
Today, Pierre Martin continues his father's work and has expanded the estate with 34 hectares of vines.
