Corette Cabernet Sauvignon

Corette Cabernet Sauvignon, a French Languedoc-Roussillon wine, has a beautiful dark red color and gives off scents of forest fruits and spices (cinnamon, mint and bay leaf). Characteristic of a Cabernet is the light tone of green peppers. Subtle wood tones (cedar and oak) complete the taste. An elegant and complex wine with a long taste sensation.

Wine - Food pairing

An ideal accompaniment to uncomplicated, but tasty dishes from French (and international) regional cuisine. Small preference for grilled dishes with beef or lamb, pepper steak and pastas. Taste type: (medium) full, aromatic, complex, with wood aging.

Vineyards

Corette Cabernet Sauvignon comes from several vineyards located on the hillsides of Languedoc-Roussillon. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in this wine come partly from vineyards located at the foot of the Cévennes. The vineyards in Nîmes provide strength and give the wine a spicy aroma. The grapes from Béziers provide a full, round and fruity taste. And the Aude valley gives the wine structure, strength and flavor that lasts long in the mouth. In this way, the different characteristics of the wine regions are optimally used. The result is a balanced wine. The bunches are completely destemmed. The grapes then undergo a long maceration with skins to obtain length, strength, richness, color and aromas. For the most part, the raising takes place in stainless steel tanks for six months. For extra complexity, part of the wine is aged for six months in oak barrels.
