Corette Chardonnay has a beautiful golden yellow color and gives off scents of both fresh fruit (pears and green apple) and nuts. The taste is elegant and mouth-filling. The aromatic finale contains subtle flavors of apricot, vanilla and oak.
According to a Burgundian family recipe, 35% of the Chardonnay grapes are fermented and aged in oak barrels. Fermentation takes about three weeks. This is followed by a nine-month education on wood. The remaining wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 18-20°C for the pure fruit aromas. Before bottling, both types of wine (wood and stainless steel) are combined.
Excellent wine as aperitif. On the table, it combines well with shellfish, sea fish, poultry, pasta, and ripe, creamy white cheese cheeses.
Corette Chardonnay is a delicious white wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region France. This wine is made from Chardonnay grapes by Badet Clément.
Recommended wine serving temperature between 10°C and 12°C.
Corette are wines for every day, with a nice price quality ratio. The wines are made by Badet Clément, Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, a large wine house that originates from Burgundy, but has also been active in Languedoc-Roussillon and the southern Rhône for some time.
They are all wines from a single grape variety (mono cépages), eight in total, in a very accessible fruity style. These wines are not only typical of their grape varieties, but also for the region of origin.
