Clea Crianza has a deep cherry red color with a dark violet edge. The fragrance is intense and complex with aromas of ripe fruit, dark fruit jam, tobacco and leather. In the taste it is a full-bodied wine with a strong structure and noticeable freshness. Smooth and elegant, complemented by soft tannins and pleasant aftertaste.
This wine is made from Tinta del Pais grapes, from old low yielding vineyards, located in Quintanilla de Onésimo, with an excellent mesoclimate and soil conditions. Harvesting here is done manually from selected grapes in late September and early October.
Aging: 14 months in used French oak barrels.

Recommended serving temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
The Bodega selects its grapes from vineyards around the villages: Fuentemolinos, Quintanilla de Onésimo, Anguix and Moradillo de Roa, where the best grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon, Tinta de Pais and Tinta Fina) come from. Nothing is left to chance in the process of making a great wine. From small 15 kilo crates for picking to a strict grape selection where only the very best grapes are used.
All wines are aged in French oak in varying periods of old and new barrels. For example, Crianza matures partly in new and partly in year-old barrels and the Reserva with the largest share of new wooden barrels.
The result is impressive, Clea's wines regularly win international prizes such as Mondus Vini and Decanter.
