Château Les Violettes Blaye is a blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) grapes, originating from vineyards with slate soils. The result is a deep red wine with purple hues. In the nose you can recognize notes of ripe fruit, including plums. In the taste, cherries, blackberries and licorice come to the fore. The fine tannins give the wine a pleasant structure. The wine has a long fruity finish.
Dinner wine for refined dishes such as duck breast, steak, tenderloin, venison steak, venison and ripe hard cheeses.
