Château Les Hauts de Bel-Air Rouge is an accessible red wine from the Bordeaux region, made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and sometimes a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. This wine offers a delicious balance between fruity and spicy aromas. The nose is dominated by notes of red fruit such as cherries, raspberries and plums, in addition to subtle hints of vanilla and oak due to the maturation in barrels. In the mouth the wine is soft, with supple tannins and a medium body, which makes for a pleasant drinking experience with a fruity aftertaste.
Wine serving temperature: 16 - 18 °C.
Les Hauts de Bel-Air Rouge goes well with various types of meat dishes, such as grilled steak, leg of lamb or pork tenderloin. This wine also goes well with pasta dishes with a rich tomato sauce or stews. It is also an ideal accompaniment to a cheese board with soft to semi-hard cheeses, such as brie or camembert, and can be combined well with roasted vegetables or charcuterie.
Owned by Maison Sichel, Château Les Hauts de Bel-Air is a traditional Bordeaux winery known for producing affordable and accessible wines with a classic style. The estate is located in the Côtes de Bordeaux region, where the clay-limestone soils provide good drainage and are ideal for growing grapes such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines reflect the terroir of the region, with a focus on fruity expressions and elegant structure, making them perfect for both everyday consumption and light aging.
