Les Fiefs de Lagrange is the second wine of the prestigious Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien. This wine is a blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a small percentage of Petit Verdot. It is an accessible wine with an attractive ruby red color and aromas of red and black fruits such as cherries, cassis and blackberries, combined with floral notes and subtle hints of spices and oak. The taste is fruity and smooth, with well-balanced tannins and a refreshing acidity, which provides a medium body and an elegant finish.
Wine serving temperature: 16 - 18 °C.

Les Fiefs de Lagrange is a versatile wine that goes perfectly with a wide range of dishes. It goes well with grilled red meat, such as steak, but also with poultry such as duck or turkey. It is also a good match with hearty pastas, creamy risottos or mature cheeses such as Gouda or brie. Its soft tannins and fruity character also make it an ideal choice for lighter dishes and everyday meals.
Château Lagrange
Château Lagrange is an excellent accompaniment to grilled red meat, such as entrecote or lamb chops, and also goes perfectly with game dishes such as venison steak or roasted pheasant. The complexity of the wine makes it a good match for hearty stews, such as boeuf bourguignon, and it also comes into its own next to mature cheeses, such as an old Comté or a powerful Roquefort.
