Château de la Grave Classic is a red wine from the AOC Côtes de Bourg in Bordeaux, France. The wine is produced by the Bassereau family, who have owned the Château since 1910. The vineyards of Château de la Grave cover 45 hectares of calcareous clay soil, ideal for the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec grape varieties grown here.

The Château de la Grave Classic is a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec. This grape combination results in a wine with an elegant structure and a complex flavor profile. The wine has a deep purple-red color with garnet reflections. The nose is intense and aromatic with aromas of black fruit, cassis, plums, leather, spices and a hint of vanilla.

On the palate the wine is full and round with ripe tannins, lively acidity, blackcurrants, blackberries, plums, spices and a long, persistent aftertaste.
