Capoforte Fiano

Capoforte Fiano is a wine produced by Masseria Capoforte, a winery in the Puglia region of Italy. Fiano is an indigenous grape variety commonly used for the production of white wines in southern Italy, particularly in the Campania region.

Capoforte Fiano is made from Fiano grapes that grow in the vineyards of Masseria Capoforte. The wine represents the characteristic features of this grape variety and the terroir of Puglia.

Capoforte Fiano is considered an expressive and aromatic wine. It often has a light to medium body with lively acidity. In terms of flavor profile, Capoforte Fiano can contain notes of ripe fruit, such as peach, apricot and citrus, as well as floral aromas and a hint of spiciness. It can also have a subtle minerality and a pleasant aftertaste.

Capoforte Fiano is an example of Masseria Capoforte's continuous efforts to produce quality wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the region and grape varieties. It is a wine worth exploring for white wine lovers who want to discover the diversity of Italian wines.

Masseria Capoforte

Masseria Capoforte is located in Salento, in the middle of fig, olive and eucalyptus trees, along roads built by Jesuit monks and noble Templars. In an utterly unique corner of the world, where the most archaic waves of the Mediterranean wash a wild shore scorched by a blinding sun that startles the mind and forces it back in time.

The cultivation of the vines on the Masseria Capoforte estate takes place on sandy-clay soils rich in tuff, a generous, sapient rock, friend of the burnt earth, which jealously guards the water and then slowly releases it to the soil. The viticulture here favors quality at every stage of growth. The choice fell first on a varietal vineyard, the first on the Ionian coast, with vines trained according to the single Guyot system, with a high density of vines per hectare.

The choice is also to harvest by hand, with loving hands that meticulously select each bunch so that it remains perfect, healthy and wholesome in its fullness and in its fragrances. The selection must consist exclusively of the production of wines of the highest quality.
