Canapi Shiraz

The Canapi Shiraz is a red wine from Italy, made from the Shiraz grape. The wine comes from the Marsala region, a wine region on the island of Sicily. The wine has a deep reddish color, the nose is aromatic, with notes of dark fruit, such as blackberries, black cherries and spices.

The wine has a full and round taste, with a good balance between fruit, tannins and alcohol. The fruit notes are complex, with dark fruit, blackberries and blueberries. The tannins are soft and give the wine a nice structure. The alcohol is present, but not overpowering. The aftertaste is long and elegant.

After harvest, the grapes are destemmed but not crushed and gently pressed. The must is fermented for 8 days at 28 degrees Celsius. The malolactic fermentation then takes place. Canapi wines carry the Vegan label. No animal ingredients are used during the process of clarification (making wine clear) and stabilization. Canapi only uses vegetable proteins from beans and peas.
