Canapi Grillo
The Canapi Grillo is a white wine from Italy, made from the Grillo grape. The wine comes from the Marsala region, a wine region on the island of Sicily. The wine has a light yellow color. The nose is aromatic, with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and white flowers. The wine has a fresh and fruity taste, with a good balance between acidity and alcohol. The aftertaste is long and elegant.
After the stems have been removed from the grapes, the grapes are gently pressed. The alcoholic fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at around 18 degrees for 10 to 15 days. After this the wine is ready for the bottle. Canapi wines carry the Vegan label. No animal ingredients are used during the process of clarification (making wine clear) and stabilization. Canapi only uses vegetable proteins from beans and peas.
