Borgogno Barolo Fossati

Borgogno Barolo Fossati is a beautiful and exceptional red wine from Piedmont, Italy, produced by the renowned Borgogno winery. Borgogno has several Cru vineyards: Liste, Cannubi and Fossati. The Borgogno Fossati has a friendlier and rounder taste than the wines from the other Cru vineyards.

Borgogno Barolo Fossati is known for its deep ruby red color and the bouquet of red berries, dried flowers, herbs, and earthy notes. The taste is full, powerful and well structured, with firm tannins and a long aftertaste.

After manual harvest, natural fermentation takes place for 12 days between 24 and 28 degrees. The wine then matures for 48 months in Slovenian oak barrels and then matures in the bottle.

Borgogno

Borgogno is a renowned winery located in the beautiful Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. The winery has a long history dating back to 1761, making it one of the oldest producers of Barolo, one of the most prestigious Italian wines.

Borgogno is known for its traditional approach to winemaking and has a strong commitment to preserving the authentic style of the region. They care deeply about the quality of the grapes they use and work closely with local vintners to select the best grapes.

Borgogno's wine range includes a range of beautiful Barolo wines, made from the Nebbiolo grape, which reflect the region's distinctive complex flavor and structure. These Barolos often have excellent aging potential and can develop beautifully over the years.

In addition to Barolo, Borgogno also produces other Piedmontese wines, such as Barbera and Dolcetto, both of which are loved for their fruity character and smooth drinkability.
