Bodegas Marta Maté Primordium is a red organic wine from the Ribera del Duero, made from Tempranillo grapes. The vineyards of Bodegas Marta Maté are located at an altitude of 910 meters above sea level, in the far northeast of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. This location provides a cooler climate than the rest of the region, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and retain a higher acidity.

The wine is made from grapes from a single vineyard with a slate and sandy loam soil. Grape production is limited to 3,500 kg/ha. The wine is harvested manually and the grapes are gently pressed. The wine is then fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.

The wine has an intense dark red color and a complex aroma of red and black fruit, herbs and wood. The wine is full and elegant, with a long aftertaste.
