Bodegas Hidalgo Amontillado Seco Napoleon

Bodegas Hidalgo Amontillado Seco Napoleon is a delicious sherry from the Andalusia region of Spain. This sherry is made from Palomino grapes by Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana.

Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana

Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana was founded in 1792 and since then the business has been passed from father to son, and today it is one of the few wine growing companies owned by the original family and run by the eighth generation in the direct line of the founder.

Don José Pantaleón Hidalgo founded the Bodega Hidalgo in 1792, when he bought a small warehouse from Don Roque Vejarano. Although it would not be until the 19th century that the company would become one of the most important Manzanilla producers in the world.

Amontillado

Amontillado is a unique wine due to its double ripening process. First, this wine matures under flor of the Fino or Manzanilla type, followed by a period in which the flor gently disappears and the wine is exposed to oxidation. Made from palomino grapes, this fusion of maturation processes makes the Amontillado an exceptionally complex and intriguing wine.
