The Delfi family has been working the land around the village of Marça in DO Montsant for generations. Based on their years of experience, they selected the very best vine clones from the area. These were planted in 1954 at the prime location “Clot de la Vella”. Cared for by the hands of Joan Asens, Catalan Winemaker of the Year 2019, these high-quality grapes have produced this delicate, subtle and lively wine. The average age of the vines is 65 years.
This wine has an intense, deep color with ruby red in color nuances. A structured, deep and lush aroma of ripe red fruit, interrupted by notes of licorice, citrus and a violet floral bouquet. The long and persistent aftertaste ensures that we can enjoy this wine for a long time.

Selecció Delfí is a perfect wine to serve with grilled meat, game, stews and hard cheeses. The wine is also delicious with Mediterranean dishes.

He wants to reflect the pure expression of the grape and the terroir in his wines.
