Bell Cros El Tracte
Bell Cros El Tracte is a powerful red wine from Montsant. El Tracte is made from 100% Carinena, a grape known for its powerful character. The grapes for this wine come from old vineyards in Montsant, located at altitudes between 450 and 600 meters above sea level. The calcareous slate soils in this area give the wine a mineral character.
The grapes are harvested manually and then destemmed and crushed. The fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with a long maceration time of 30 days. The wine then matures for 18 months in 225 liter French oak barrels, 40% of which are new.
El Tracte has an intense ruby red color. The nose is complex and aromatic with notes of ripe red fruit, blackcurrants, cassis, plums, herbs, spices, vanilla, chocolate and tobacco. In the mouth the wine is powerful and full-bodied with round tannins, a lively and long aftertaste.

El Tracte is a perfect wine to serve with grilled meat, stews, game and hard cheeses. The wine is also delicious with Mediterranean dishes.
