Bell Cros El Mirador
Bell Cros El Mirador is a powerful red wine from Montsant. El Mirador is a blend of Carinena and Garnacha Tinta. The grapes for this wine come from vineyards in Montsant, located at altitudes between 400 and 550 meters above sea level. The calcareous slate soils in this area give the wine a mineral character.
The grapes are harvested manually and then destemmed and crushed. The fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with a long maceration time of 25 days. The wine then matures for 14 months in 225 liter French oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
El Mirador has an intense ruby red color. The nose is complex and aromatic with notes of ripe red fruit, blackcurrants, herbs, spices, vanilla and toast. In the mouth the wine is powerful and full-bodied with round tannins, a lively taste and a long aftertaste.

El Mirador is a perfect wine to serve with grilled meat, stews, game and hard cheeses. The wine is also delicious with Mediterranean dishes.
