Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico Riserva

Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico Riserva is a special selection of the Chianti Classico wine from the prestigious wine estate Badia a Coltibuono in Tuscany, Italy. This Riserva release represents the top quality of their Chianti Classico wines and shows the potential of the Sangiovese grapes in this historic wine region.

The Chianti Classico Riserva is made from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, harvested by hand from the best vineyards on the estate. After the traditional vinification, the wine matures for a longer period in oak barrels, which gives it extra complexity and structure.

The wine has a deep ruby red color and offers a rich bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and berries, complemented by notes of spices, tobacco and cedar. On the palate, the Chianti Classico Riserva is full and concentrated, with silky tannins and a good balance between fruity and spicy notes. This wine also has significant aging potential, allowing it to develop further in the bottle.

Wine - Food pairing

In terms of wine-food pairings, Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico Riserva pairs well with hearty and flavorful dishes. Think of grilled red meat, game dishes, stews and aged cheeses. The wine's full body and complex flavors harmonize beautifully with the rich and savory characteristics of these dishes. It is a wine to be enjoyed calmly and paired with dishes that complement the robust flavors of the Chianti Classico Riserva.
