Bodegas Artadi Vina El Pisón
Artadi Vina El Pisón has an intense, bright cherry red color with purple highlights. Chocolate, cream and toffee dominate the nose, followed by clean fruity aromas of red and black fruits, complemented by hints of spice and minerals. In the mouth lots of ripe fruit, malt and soft tobacco. Complex, fleshy wine with a good balance between the powerful backbone, the soft and sweet tannins, and the ripe, silky fruit notes. A wine of great class with its own personality.
Grapes from the older vines of only one vineyard, El Pisón, are used for this wine. Average age of the vines: 40 years. Solid aging in French oak barriques (renewed every 5 years).

Excellent companion to all kinds of tasty dishes from the Mediterranean kitchen, in particular meat or poultry stews, roasted or grilled lamb, veal or pork, poultry, and aged, hard Spanish cheeses such as idiazábal or roncal.
