Artadi Valdeginés is a high-quality Spanish red wine produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi, a renowned winery based in the Rioja region of Spain. This wine is named after the vineyard "Valdeginés," where the grapes are grown, and it is known for its exceptional quality and expression.
The Artadi Valdeginés is made from the Tempranillo grape, which is dominant in the Rioja region and is known for its ability to produce complex and refined red wines. The wine has a deep red color with purple hues and a complex aroma of ripe blackcurrants, plums, tobacco, cocoa and spices. It is a wine with a rich and full taste, characterized by ripe tannins and an excellent structure. The aftertaste is long and elegant, and the wine can age well and further develop its flavor character.
The grape bunches are harvested by hand in optimal condition, selected bunch by bunch and 100% destemmed. The grapes then undergo a cold soaking period of two days, after which the alcoholic fermentation is carried out in two weeks with wild (grape's own) yeasts and without the use of sulphur. After pressing the grapes, they are aged in new French barriques. Fourteen months later the assembly and bottling follow.
Artadi Valdeginés is considered one of the top wines of Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi and represents the best characteristics of the Tempranillo grape from this specific terroir.
