Allegrini Valpolicella Superiore

Allegrini Valpolicella Superiore is a dry red wine made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Orseleta grapes by the Allegrini winery in the Valpolicella Classico region of northern Italy. The grapes grow on vineyards with calcareous and clayey soils and are vinified using traditional methods, with a maturation period of at least 12 months in wooden barrels.

The result is an elegant, complex and powerful wine with a nice balance between fruit, acidity and tannins. The wine has a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is intense and aromatic with scents of cherries, plums, raspberries, violets, spices, leather and tobacco.

On the palate the wine is full and round with ripe fruit tones, fresh acidity, firm tannins and a mineral aftertaste. The finish is long and persistent, with hints of pepper, cocoa and rosemary.

Wine - Food pairing

Allegrini Valpolicella Superiore is a wine that goes perfectly with dishes with red meat, game, pasta with rich sauces and mature cheeses. The wine can also be drunk on its own as an aperitif or with drinks.
