A. Cailbourdin Pouilly-Fumé Triptyque

Domaine Alain Cailbourdin's Pouilly-Fumé Triptyque is a remarkable white wine that embodies the craftsmanship of this renowned winemaker in the Loire Valley.

The grapes for the Triptyque come from three different plots in Saint-Andelain with a total area of 70 hectares. The soil is calcareous with clay and flint, which provides a mineral character to the wine. The plots are:

- Le Clos de la Perrière: 40 years old, calcareous clay with flint
- Les Loges: 30 years old, calcareous clay
- Les Varennes: 60 years old, calcareous clay with sand

The grapes are harvested manually and then gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures. The wine then matures for 10 months in oak barrels, 25% of which are new.

A. Cailbourdin Pouilly-Fumé Triptyque has a clear, light yellow color. The wine has an intense nose with aromas of citrus fruits, green herbs, flint, white flowers and honey. The taste is complex and mineral, with fresh acidity, a round texture and a long aftertaste.
